re-designing

I am considering whether to renovate my room. Well, not exactly renovate, just re-painting of walls, changing of every furniture - more of re-furnishing. And i am thinking of shopping for furniture without my mum's knowledge (cos i am paying for my own stuffs anyway). But i can already imagine the huge reaction when the furnitures arrives at my door step.

Since ages and ages and 3748946 zillion years ago, i have wished to be an interior designer. However mum (again) doesn't allow me to do so. And let me share with you guys (to give me some feedback) on what i am gonna buy.

I have done some walk about to check out stuffs and i decided to paint one side of my room hot pink, the other side and middle shall be cream and the ceiling should be white.

On the hot pink side of the room will be this vintage bed frame made of black steel, with white sheets. 3 regular-sized frames featuring tulips would be hanged onto the wall. At the foot of the bed would lie this white furry wool rug.

The curtains would be sheer white and beside the bedframe would be a black lacquered study table with 2 sets of drawers and accompanied with hot pink plastic chair.

Facing the bed would be a sliding door (2doors) wardrobe and chest of drawers. All made from tempered glass.

Last but not least a vintage framed mirror would be hanged onto the pink side of the wall beside the bed frame.

Then i will hang some crystalled stars from the ceiling in the middle of the room and install 2 spotlight facing the crystals.

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. But i don't want to know the consequences of all these as well. >.<

So how??!! what do you people think of these?! Anyway i am still considering this investment to my room so feel free to give comments!
